DIYdly opens the world of travel to everyone and allows you to use our carefully constructed itineraries to book your travel, have complete flexibility, and then travel independently and on your own terms at a massively cheaper price to any tour on the market.
We like to think we are a bit like Ikea, but for travel. And without the allen keys or instructions with no words.
Our mission is to provide clear, honest, opinionated, and up to date advice to help you experience all the joys of travel.
Build your holiday by following these simple steps…
1. Select your itinerary
Using our long experience working in the travel industry, we create itineraries to your favourite travel destinations. You select the itinerary that is closest to what you are looking for, then adjust it to suit you and your travel plans. Everything you need to book for your trip is listed on the itinerary page with a few options to allow you to choose what best suits your travel needs.
2. Use our itinerary planner
You can download our Itinerary Planner spreadsheet which contains all our personally recommended hotels, transport and activities along with links for making your bookings. Our handpicked hotels and tour providers are selected because we 100% love them. Many don’t even know that we are recommending them. You can use our recommendations or choose your own - it’s entirely up to you. The spreadsheet also allows you to add days where needed, check off bookings tasks, and track the cost of each booking, all in one single location.
3. Book your holiday
Using the links on the webpage or in the itinerary planner, book all the services required for your trip. In general we use booking.com for hotels and getyourguide.com for activities due to their competitive pricing, ease of use, and generous cancellation policies. At no cost to you we receive a small commission when you book which helps us pay for everything DIYdly provides.
4. Travel with confidence
Once everything is in place head off on your adventure! Everything you need to know is contained on this website. There are no secrets. Our local superhero hotels or agents are in place in every destination to help out and support you in times of need.
